About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing financial technology client in Berlin who is building innovative solutions for e-commerce and SaaS businesses. They are seeking a Customer Support Specialist with a background in German tax accounting (Steuerfachangestellter) to join their team on a fully remote basis.

This role combines your accounting expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, allowing you to guide clients through financial processes while contributing to content strategy and product development. Our client values autonomy, professional growth, and a collaborative team environment.

Location: Berlin, Germany (100% remote or hybrid available)

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstration calls with potential clients, actively listening to their needs in e-commerce and SaaS contexts and proposing suitable solutions
• Independently manage and resolve customer support tickets with a focus on fast, customer-oriented outcomes
• Collaborate closely with onboarding and automation teams to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to continuous product improvement
• Create content including blog articles, templates, and help documentation to support customers and advance the company's AI and content strategy
• Track and achieve realistic goals and KPIs both individually and in team collaboration

What We're Looking For

• Completed training as Steuerfachangestellter or equivalent experience in financial accounting and tax-related processes
• Proven experience in direct customer contact, ideally within a SaaS environment, with strong instincts for customer needs
• Ability to define, monitor, and achieve measurable goals and KPIs for yourself and your team
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, written and spoken
• Proficiency with common tools such as Zendesk, Confluence, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to drive independent projects while working collaboratively
