Product Manager – POS & Fiscalization (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential European technology organization seeking a Product Manager to lead their point-of-sale and fiscalization solutions business. This role combines technical expertise with business development, working directly with POS manufacturers, software providers, resellers, payment providers, and strategic customers across the German and European markets.

You'll drive the growth of secure hardware solutions for cash register systems and tax compliance requirements, supporting clients from initial concept through technical integration to successful rollout. This is an opportunity to shape product strategy in a regulated, innovation-driven market.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation on TSE implementation, fiscal compliance requirements, POS architectures, and integration concepts
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with POS manufacturers, software vendors, resellers, payment providers, and key accounts
• Manage opportunities end-to-end: from initial customer engagement through technical evaluation, TSE/POS integration, commercial negotiation, and rollout
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and technical teams on customer projects and evaluations
• Develop customer-specific solutions, account plans, and business cases while steering complex client projects alongside customers and technical partners
• Take commercial responsibility for agreed revenue and profitability targets; support pricing and commercial negotiations
• Monitor the German and European POS and fiscalization markets to identify new business opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience in POS, retail technology, payment, fiscalization, or comparable technical B2B solutions
• Proven track record in business development or project management of technically complex solutions
• Deep practical knowledge of the German fiscalization market, especially TSE, POS integration, and tax compliance requirements, including demonstrable experience implementing or supporting TSE and fiscal solutions in POS environments
• Strong technical understanding of POS architectures, APIs, cloud services, and hardware integrations
• Experience working with POS manufacturers, software providers, resellers, or system integrators; existing network in the German and European POS/fiscalization market is a significant advantage
• Excellent interface competence: ability to discuss technical integration topics with developers and architects while negotiating business cases with senior management and customers
• Entrepreneurial, independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style with strong communication and negotiation skills in complex customer and project environments
• Fluent German and very good English required; willingness to travel up to 50%
