Senior Business Controller Production (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential electronics manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Business Controller Production for their Berlin location. In this role, you will serve as the central interface between production, project management, and finance teams.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and preparing production and project data, deriving actionable recommendations for operational improvement
• Acting as a sparring partner for production leadership and project managers on controlling matters
• Tracking budgets, costs, and project progress including variance analysis
• Supporting product cost calculation as well as budget and forecast processes
• Identifying optimization potential in production and project processes and actively participating in their implementation
• Contributing to the development of reporting capabilities within the SAP S/4HANA environment
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders across production, project management, and finance departments

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in production controlling within a manufacturing environment, with solid understanding of production KPIs, cost structures, and manufacturing processes
• Proven experience analyzing production and project data, conducting variance analysis, and partnering with production leadership, project management, and finance to derive informed recommendations
• Practical experience in product costing, material and order calculation, as well as budget, forecast, and cost control processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP (ideally S/4HANA) and Excel; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is advantageous
• Strong analytical capabilities, structured and independent working style, and ability to identify and implement optimization opportunities in production and project processes
• Fluent German language skills (C1/C2 level) are mandatory, as the role requires close collaboration with German-speaking specialists and managers; good English skills additionally required
