Director of Product Marketing – Cloud & OT Security

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Director of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy across two critical security domains: cloud security (CNAPP) and operational technology (OT) security.

In this leadership role, you will own product marketing for both cloud exposure and OT solutions, managing Product Marketing Managers dedicated to each area. You'll be responsible for building credible, differentiated messaging for two distinct buyer audiences while connecting both to a cohesive platform narrative. This position reports to senior product marketing leadership and requires close collaboration across product, sales, partnerships, and demand generation teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on-site at either the Columbia, MD or Boston, MA office location. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis across cloud security and OT security markets using customer, partner, analyst, and sales insights to inform product and go-to-market strategies
• Develop distinct buyer personas, solution messaging, and content strategies for both the cloud security market and the OT security market
• Create compelling sales collateral, solution briefs, blog posts, website content, webcasts, and trade show materials to drive demand and awareness
• Lead new product and solution launches across both cloud security and OT domains
• Identify technology partnership opportunities and co-marketing initiatives to expand market reach
• Measure campaign effectiveness using data-driven insights and performance tracking; take ownership of results
• Participate actively in analyst relations, public relations initiatives, webcasts, events, and demand generation activities
• Guide sales and partner enablement across both product areas and serve as the voice of sales to the product organization
• Manage, develop, and mentor Product Marketing Managers, including setting priorities, recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluation, and career development
• Partner with leadership on budget planning for strategy execution and team development

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 12+ years of high-tech product marketing or similar experience
• 7+ years of direct people management experience
• Demonstrable knowledge of cloud security and vulnerability management trends
• Working knowledge of operational technology (OT) security and broader trends in OT-heavy industries such as manufacturing and utilities
• Superb written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to collaborate in highly matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders and all levels of management
• Strong strategic thinking combined with creative execution capabilities
• Excellent organizational skills with strong follow-through
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments with high quality standards
• Capacity to balance multiple projects with aggressive deadlines simultaneously
• Ability to commute to Columbia, MD or Boston, MA office 3 days per week
• Ability to travel within the US up to 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Deep working knowledge of both the CNAPP/cloud security market and the OT security landscape, including relevant compliance frameworks
