Business Development Manager – Montpellier – CDI

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology platform in the food delivery sector, seeking a Business Development Manager to drive expansion across the Montpellier region. This is a permanent contract (CDI) position based in France with home office flexibility.

Our client is at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing industries globally, connecting consumers with local businesses through innovative technology. You'll join an ambitious commercial team focused on accelerating growth across southern France.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and sign new restaurant partners through phone outreach and in-person meetings
• Develop and manage a portfolio of restaurant partners across multiple cities in Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, and Vaucluse (including Marseille, La Ciotat, Toulon, and Avignon)
• Generate daily call volume to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Maintain regular field presence to meet restaurateurs directly in your territory
• Present and sell the platform's value proposition, adapting your approach to each prospect
• Lead commercial negotiations from initial contact through closing
• Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain rigorous CRM documentation
• Support partners post-signature and provide regular activity reports to management

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3 minimum) or equivalent sales experience
• Proven experience in B2B sales and business development
• Comfortable with field prospecting and direct merchant engagement
• Excellent relationship-building skills with strong negotiation and closing abilities
• Autonomous, organized, and results-oriented mindset
• Genuine interest in the restaurant and food technology sectors
• Valid driver's license (Permis B) required
• Fluency in French required for this market
