Senior Social Media Manager – France

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food-delivery technology client seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead their French market social presence. This is a strategic role where you'll shape how a globally recognized brand shows up across social channels in France, ensuring culturally relevant, platform-native creative work that drives engagement and brand equity.

Based in Paris with a hybrid working model (three days per week in office), you'll report to senior leadership while collaborating across marketing, brand, commercial, and communications teams to build meaningful connections with French audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media strategy and roadmap for France across always-on content, brand campaigns, commercial priorities, cultural moments, and reactive opportunities
• Translate global brand strategies into locally relevant social-first ideas and executions that resonate with French audiences across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Oversee the French social presence including content calendars, tone of voice, and community engagement approaches
• Act as the senior social lead for the market, collaborating with local and global teams to embed social thinking early in campaign planning
• Manage agency partners and influencer collaborations from briefing through delivery, ensuring creative and strategic standards are met
• Monitor French culture, creators, communities, trends, and platform behaviors to identify credible opportunities for brand participation
• Establish effective workflows, report on social performance and community insights, and use learnings to optimize content and channel strategy
• Coach junior team members and contribute to raising social media standards across markets

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise with major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
• Excellent understanding of French culture, internet behavior, creators, communities, and trends
• Flawless written French and excellent English communication skills with strong editorial judgment
• Proven experience developing social strategies and campaigns that build brand visibility, engagement, and cultural relevance
• Data-informed approach with strong understanding of social metrics and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Experience managing agency partners, creative development, and multiple stakeholders in fast-moving environments
• Leadership skills including the ability to coach junior colleagues and influence cross-functional teams
• Strategic and creative judgment from initial briefing through execution, optimization, and reporting
