Inventory Control Manager

Freudenberg is hiring an Inventory Control Manager for our Lebanon, Indiana facility. In this full-time position, you'll oversee inventory operations, optimize stock management, and lead a team dedicated to operational excellence and accuracy.

Role Overview

The Inventory Control Manager at Freudenberg Lebanon, IN manages the flow of materials throughout our facility, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficiency. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices, analyzing inventory metrics, and collaborating across departments to meet production and business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise inventory control staff to maintain accurate records and timely stock movements
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory integrity
• Analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and obsolescence to identify optimization opportunities
• Manage ordering processes, coordinate with procurement, and monitor supplier performance
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems and controls
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline material handling
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, shrinkage issues, and process gaps
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory performance and cost reduction
• Train and mentor team members on inventory procedures and company standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of inventory management or warehouse operations experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience supervising teams
• Strong proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in record-keeping
• Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or distribution environment
