About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential infrastructure engineering organization in their search for a Senior Power Distribution Engineer. This primarily remote role supports critical utility distribution projects including storm hardening, pole replacement, and system upgrades across the United States. Limited travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations
  • Collaborate with designers, drafters, clients, and internal teams to complete accurate design packages
  • Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity
  • Support project coordination by communicating scope, cost, schedule, and quality considerations
  • Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures, including quality control and documentation standards
  • Conduct peer reviews, perform self-checks, and deliver accurate work with minimal errors
  • Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements
  • Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration
  • Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
  • Knowledge of BOUD and Maximo software
  • Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
  • Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams
