Director – LIMS Strategy – CPG & F&B

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Director of LIMS Strategy to drive market expansion in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Chemical Ingredients sectors. This is a remote position based in the United States.

In this high-impact role, you will architect and execute commercial strategy for a modern cloud-based LIMS product line. You'll serve as the bridge between sales, marketing, product, and services teams, unifying them into a cohesive market vision. This position requires a visionary leader who can seamlessly pivot from high-level strategy to hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Own growth and market penetration of LIMS solutions across target FMCG and supply chain sectors
• Operate in a high-visibility, customer-facing commercial capacity to drive positive outcomes
• Serve as an industry evangelist through conference presentations, webinars, and published content
• Lead customer discovery sessions to uncover pain points and co-create solutions
• Support sales teams in creating compelling presentations for prospects and executive stakeholders
• Help prospective customers build business cases to justify investments and accelerate sales cycles
• Conduct competitive analysis and develop tactical strategies to win against competitors
• Provide business and technology guidance to influence product roadmap decisions
• Enable field teams with strategic direction and messaging while building executive relationships
• Coordinate resources across the entire customer journey from initial sales to delivery
• Engage with communities of practice and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience growing and scaling technology offerings at a laboratory informatics software vendor or consulting firm
• Proven track record working with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), supply chain companies, or closely related industries
• Proven ability to hold strategic conversations with Heads of Quality, QC, and IT leaders regarding software applications and modernization
• Demonstrated success innovating across complex business processes and technical solutions
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Dynamic presentation skills with ability to be clear, concise, and credible to any audience
• Strong interpersonal skills with genuine passion for collaboration
• Self-starter mentality with comfort taking initiative and working independently
• Detail-oriented with strong self-imposed standards of quality and diligence
• Ability to travel up to 40% for customer meetings and presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience spanning Quality Control (QC), GxP quality content, training management, quality systems processes, or manufacturing
• Experience leading global sales teams to pursue and close complex enterprise opportunities
• Background establishing and maintaining trusted partnerships with C-suite stakeholders
• Published thought leadership within the laboratory informatics domain
