Mid-Market Account Executive DACH (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing European cybersecurity SaaS organization seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive (m/w/d) to join their Berlin team. Our client provides innovative security awareness solutions that help organizations build resilient cultures through behavioral change and effective training programs.

This is a closing role where you'll manage the full sales cycle, working with mid-market and public sector clients in the DACH region. You'll collaborate closely with SDRs, pre-sales engineers, customer success managers, and partner teams to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business opportunities within the mid-market and public sector segments
• Own the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature, focused on new customer acquisition and achieving sales targets
• Partner with Sales Development Representatives to identify and qualify leads, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline
• Drive, negotiate, and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities in collaboration with Customer Success Managers
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with decision-makers at prospective accounts, demonstrating the value of the client's cybersecurity solutions
• Conduct online demos, on-site meetings, and attend events to showcase the product and strengthen customer relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales and partner managers to ensure a seamless customer experience

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of closing experience in SaaS sales, ideally focused on SMB or mid-market customers in the public sector
• Proven ownership mentality—you take initiative, stay focused on goals, and close deals with discipline and consistency
• Strong team player with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Adaptable and capable of managing shifting priorities in a dynamic scale-up environment
• Open to feedback with a commitment to continuous learning and development
• Comfortable with a hybrid work model, including regular office days in Berlin and remote flexibility
• Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), prospecting software, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Fluent German and English required
