Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to take ownership of their cloud platform. In this role, you will:
- Architect and evolve scalable, secure cloud infrastructure supporting a globally used analytics platform
- Define infrastructure standards and long-term technical direction for the business-critical production environment
- Drive cost optimization and performance improvements across cloud resources
- Own uptime, SLAs, and incident management practices
- Lead post-incident reviews and implement systemic improvements
- Define monitoring, alerting, and observability strategy
- Lead Infrastructure as Code maturity and governance initiatives
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment reliability
- Enable engineering teams through better tooling and platform capabilities
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and security teams
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
- Deep AWS and cloud architecture expertise
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience
- Proven track record of owning complex, production systems
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to influence teams and drive technical decisions
- Must be based in Germany for this 100% remote position
Preferred experience:
- Kubernetes and container platforms at scale
- High-availability SaaS products
- Compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2
- Mentoring engineers and shaping engineering practices
