IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a growing organization in the Leverkusen area seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist. In this role, you will maintain and develop the IT infrastructure while taking ownership of key areas including IT security, cloud environments, and network operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and advancing the IT infrastructure
• Administering endpoint devices and IT systems
• Supporting network, cloud, and security solutions
• Implementing access controls and security frameworks
• Overseeing backup and recovery processes
• Contributing to information security initiatives

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a candidate with:

• Formal IT education, degree, or relevant professional experience in IT
• Demonstrated experience in IT administration and/or IT security
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Independent and structured approach to work
• Hands-on mentality and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent German language skills and solid English proficiency

The position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time arrangements available, as well as mobile and flexible working options. You'll have significant autonomy, room for professional growth, and generous time off (more than 30 days annually).
