Insurance Sales Agent, Personal Lines

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential insurance organization seeking an Insurance Sales Agent, Personal Lines to join their growing team. Our client specializes in providing personalized coverage solutions and has built a strong reputation for client service and employee development.

This is a consultative sales role focused on converting qualified leads, building client relationships, and growing a personal lines book of business. You'll work with prospective clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage solutions across auto, home, umbrella, and related products.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and convert new personal lines sales opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts
• Conduct consultative sales conversations and present quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations to prospective clients
• Follow up on leads, referrals, and opportunities to drive conversion and close business
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners such as realtors, loan officers, and builders
• Perform policy reviews and identify opportunities to increase coverage and cross-sell additional lines of business
• Prepare and process quotes, applications, endorsements, and related documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activity within CRM and agency management systems
• Monitor and manage individual pipeline to ensure consistent sales activity and goal attainment
• Collaborate with sales development representatives, service teams, and leadership to support client needs and business objectives
• Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and market conditions

What We're Looking For

• License Required: Active and valid Property and Casualty (P&C) License; Texas license preferred. Life and Health License is a plus
• Experience: 1–3 years in personal lines insurance sales or a related sales role, with proven ability to generate and convert leads
• Experience in an independent agency environment preferred; captive agency experience will also be considered
• Track record of working in a quota-driven or performance-based sales environment
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to assess client needs and recommend tailored solutions
• Demonstrated closing ability and relationship-building capabilities
• Excellent communication skills—clear, confident, and professional
• Strong product knowledge of personal lines insurance products (Auto, Home, Umbrella, etc.)
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve individual sales goals
• Technical proficiency with CRM systems, rating tools, and agency management platforms
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
