About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Senior Specialty Consultative Pharmacist to join their clinical team. In this remote role, you will make a meaningful impact on patients managing serious and rare health conditions through telephonic consultative services. You'll assess medication therapy, develop comprehensive care plans, and provide expert clinical guidance through advanced telecommunication systems.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound telephonic consultations with patients regarding medication therapy, side effect management, and adverse event reporting
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions with emphasis on medication therapy optimization
- Develop and implement comprehensive pharmaceutical care plans
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, checking for drug-drug interactions and appropriateness of therapy
- Evaluate disease state management, dosing, directions, and treatment appropriateness
- Monitor patient progress through regular clinical assessments
- Provide medication education using electronic resources and clinical guidelines
- Participate in federal prescription programs
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet departmental clinical goals
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license from Florida, Texas, Ohio, or Arizona Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a pharmacist in high-volume retail, hospital, or mail order pharmacy setting
- Must currently reside in Ohio, Florida, Texas, or Arizona
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and troubleshoot technical issues in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and productivity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Oncology, Specialty, Geriatric, Pharmacotherapy, or Ambulatory Care
- Spanish language proficiency
- Previous specialty pharmacy experience
- Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) experience
- Commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid experience
- Clinical managed care experience
Schedule Details:
- 40-hour work week, Eastern Time
- Training: 2-4 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM ET
- Regular schedule: Three shifts 10:00 AM–6:30 PM; two late shifts 11:30 AM–8:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)
- Rotating Friday late shifts and Saturday coverage required
- Holiday rotation and mandatory overtime as needed
Work-From-Home Requirements:
- Minimum internet: 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload (wired cable or DSL preferred)
- Dedicated workspace to protect PHI/HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to offices for training or meetings may be required

Pay
The client's base compensation range for this position is $115,200–$158,400 per year, based on experience, skills, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement savings, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, disability coverage, life insurance, and wellness programs.
