Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Personify team)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential e-commerce technology organization based in Czechia. We're seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join a collaborative development team working on cutting-edge personalization solutions for major retail platforms.

This is a full-time position based in Prague, with strong emphasis on in-person collaboration while maintaining flexibility through remote-first policies. You'll be the first QA engineer on a friendly, talented team that values working together from their Prague office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the founding QA member on a growing development team
• Own and develop the team's testing strategy from the ground up
• Build comprehensive test plans for frontend and backend applications
• Implement automated testing solutions while conducting strategic manual testing
• Apply AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and QA professionals from other teams
• Participate in technical design decisions and code reviews
• Mentor team members and contribute to their professional growth
• Extend CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in QA Automation roles
• Professional experience building comprehensive test plans
• Hands-on experience with test automation for frontend and backend applications
• Professional proficiency with Playwright or Cypress
• Strong collaborative mindset and team player who actively supports colleagues

Highly Valued:

• Experience building and owning test strategies
• Ability to adopt AI-enhanced testing methodologies
• Background extending CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Capability to conduct thorough code reviews with constructive feedback

Preferred:

• Experience with GitLab, Jest, and BrowserStack
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of major e-commerce platform ecosystems
• Background in e-commerce technology environments

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: 1,130,000 – 1,410,000 CZK annually. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location considerations.
