Senior Sales Specialist (Business Finance)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in London who is building something meaningful in the SME lending space. This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced 360 sales professional who thrives in a high-volume, phone-driven environment.

You'll run the full sales cycle from outreach through to close, managing client relationships for the long term. This role is built for high-performers who can turn outbound conversations into lasting funding partnerships. Data-driven prospect lists are provided directly to you—no cold business development required.

Responsibilities

• Engage, nurture, and close a high-quality pipeline of SME prospects using provided data-driven lists
• Manage the entire commercial lifecycle end-to-end, independently understanding business goals and structuring financial solutions
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with business owners, becoming their trusted funding partner and driving repeat business
• Pitch complex lending propositions compellingly against alternative financing options
• Consistently hit and exceed monthly sales targets
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing sales culture

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in B2B sales within commercial finance or SME lending
• Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
• Confident running the entire sales cycle independently, with strong prospecting and closing capabilities
• Highly organised approach to managing a busy pipeline with deals at multiple stages
• Exceptional telephone skills—you build rapport quickly, nurture relationships over time, and simplify complex products for non-finance audiences
• Resilient, coachable, and motivated by uncapped earning potential
• Comfortable using approved generative AI tools to enhance productivity
