Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Change Manager I. This is a remote position requiring residency in Oregon or Southwest Washington. You'll support medium to large-scale transformation initiatives, serving as a bridge between stakeholders and ensuring successful adoption of organizational changes through structured change management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support change efforts on medium to large-scale, complex projects utilizing change management, project management, and LEAN principles throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Identify change impacts, desired mindsets, and behavior changes needed to realize project benefits within varying team cultures
  • Develop change management strategies and plans that outline milestones, priorities, needs, and resources using established frameworks
  • Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings to build alignment, collaboration, and consensus through periods of transition
  • Create tactical engagement plans to help teams navigate through organizational changes
  • Monitor and communicate adoption status to sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders, ensuring progress toward successful transition
  • Deliver formal and informal presentations providing updates on project adoption and alignment with strategic goals
  • Measure adoption metrics and monitor change integration into business operations
  • Identify potential risks and barriers to project goals and implement mitigation strategies
  • Utilize change management toolkits and templates, employing advanced techniques to facilitate adoption
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide change sustainment plans upon project completion
  • Participate in business unit planning, performance metrics, and cross-departmental initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • At least 2 years of change management experience supporting medium and large-scale change efforts
  • Minimum 1 year experience on complex information systems projects
  • Formal change management training
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methods, and techniques
  • Understanding of multiple project management frameworks including agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to apply process improvement techniques such as Lean, PDSA, or Six Sigma
  • Strong capability to develop formal change plans aligned with timelines and budgets
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools such as Smartsheet and Mural
  • Strong communication skills including listening, verbal, written, documentation, meeting facilitation, and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, matrixed teams, and competing priorities within time and budget constraints

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Change Management certification (Prosci, Kotter, or similar)
  • Training, organizational development, or technical writing certifications
  • Scrum, Agile, or PMI Project Management certification
  • 1 or more years of experience in health plan operations
  • Expertise with information systems in the health insurance or related industry
