About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential industrial automation organization seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join their team in Mexico. This role focuses on operational technology cybersecurity, working directly with clients to assess, design, and implement security solutions for critical industrial control systems.

As a recruiter, we're looking for an experienced OT cybersecurity professional who can provide consultancy services, conduct risk assessments, and deploy security controls in distributed control system environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments, gap assessments, and deliver cybersecurity consultancy services to clients
  • Design system architectures and cybersecurity concepts aligned with customer requirements and international standards
  • Prepare comprehensive assessment documentation based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Deploy and test cybersecurity solutions to ensure controls function effectively in operational technology environments
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks
  • Execute periodic cybersecurity maintenance services for systems onboard vessels or at port facilities
  • Analyze and troubleshoot network issues and other cybersecurity-related problems
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents as they arise

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an OT cybersecurity service engineer
  • Bachelor's degree with IT background and focused operational technology experience
  • Strong knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS)
  • Deep understanding of computer networking concepts, network security methodologies, and cybersecurity solutions including application whitelisting, backup solutions, network analysis, log aggregation, and SIEM platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and virtual system administration
  • Familiarity with IEC 62443 standard (knowledge of Maritime class cybersecurity standards is a plus)
  • Understanding of technology integration processes and ability to identify critical infrastructure systems
  • Based in or able to work in Mexico
