Business Analyst — Junior/Middle

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential B2B SaaS client in the United States who is building a new mid-market analytics platform. They need a Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders, product, engineering, and data teams—translating business needs into clear requirements and ensuring solutions solve the right problems.

This position is open to both junior candidates with strong analytical fundamentals and middle-level Business Analysts ready to take more ownership of requirements and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Gather and clarify business requirements from internal stakeholders and users
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and QA teams throughout the development process
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Document workflows, business rules, requirements, and process changes
• Support backlog refinement and help clarify requirements for development teams
• Analyze data and operational information to support business and product decisions
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and project discussions
• Help validate delivered functionality against agreed business requirements
• Track open questions, dependencies, and requirement changes throughout projects

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 1+ years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, operations, data analysis, or a related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with both business and technical teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with B2B SaaS or software products
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes
• Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation
• Basic SQL, reporting, or data analysis experience
• Experience working with analytics, reporting, or business intelligence products

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai will be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Our client's budget for this role ranges from $70,000–$95,000 USD annually.
