Senior People Partner – Product & Functions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organisation operating across multiple African markets, and we're seeking a Senior People Partner to lead the people agenda for their Product organisation and a portfolio of central functions.

This is a fully remote role based in London, offering the chance to shape HR strategy for technology and operational teams at genuine scale. You'll partner with senior leaders across product, design, digital lending, fraud, workplace operations, impact, and corporate communications—supporting teams that serve millions of customers across five countries.

Responsibilities

As Senior People Partner, you will:

• Act as trusted advisor to product, design, and digital lending leadership, aligning people strategy with product delivery and team evolution
• Own the people agenda for fraud, workplaces, impact, and corporate communications teams across multiple markets and operating models
• Support organisational design and change initiatives, including workforce planning and structural transformations
• Build management capability across your portfolio, coaching leaders on performance conversations, hiring, and development
• Implement talent strategies to attract, develop, and retain product, design, and analytics professionals in competitive markets
• Use people analytics to inform decision-making, working with Centres of Excellence to turn data into actionable insights
• Manage employee relations cases across your portfolio, partnering with the ER Centre of Excellence on complex matters
• Embed organisational culture and values across all touchpoints, from performance management to team rituals

What We're Looking For

Required experience and skills:

• Proven HR business partnering experience with senior leaders in scaling technology, fintech, or high-growth environments
• Portfolio ownership rather than supporting roles—you've led the people agenda for multiple client groups simultaneously
• Exposure to product, design, marketing, or analytics teams, with understanding of how they're built, motivated, and retained
• Breadth and adaptability: comfortable switching between very different teams (creative vs. operational) in the same day
• Strategic and operational range: able to shape long-term plans while delivering day-to-day execution
• Experience supporting cross-cultural teams across multiple regions in remote and global settings
• Analytical and advisory instinct: uses data, influence, and judgment to advise leaders on trade-offs and risks
• Confident handling of employee relations matters across more than one jurisdiction, partnering with specialist teams rather than managing every case independently
• European or UK employment law exposure is beneficial but not required

You'll report to the Lead People Partner for Technology, with real ownership of your client groups from day one. This role requires someone who can build credibility with both creative, iterative teams and operational, high-stakes functions within the same portfolio.
