About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology organization in their search for a Chief Strategy Officer based in Hong Kong. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving group-level strategy across multiple business lines and identifying where the organization should compete, invest, and expand.
You will own strategic planning and execution for the entire group, evaluate new markets and competitive shifts, and translate high-level vision into actionable plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine group strategy across existing businesses, new products, and target markets
- Evaluate new business opportunities, market dynamics, competitive threats, and industry trends to inform investment decisions
- Build comprehensive business cases and financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Lead strategic initiatives including market entry strategies, partnerships, investments, and other corporate development activities
- Monitor competitive landscape continuously and identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Own group-level positioning and craft corporate narratives around major company milestones and developments
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into specific execution plans and resource allocation
What We're Looking For
- Proven strategy experience in a technology company, high-growth startup, consulting firm, investment environment, or as a founder
- Track record of developing and executing strategies that delivered measurable business results
- Strong commercial acumen and financial judgment with ability to assess markets, businesses, and investment opportunities
- Advanced analytical capabilities with hands-on ability to build business cases and financial models directly
- Exceptional written communication skills and ability to distill complex business topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Experience with corporate development, investments, mergers and acquisitions, or corporate communications is valuable
- Hands-on operating style—comfortable personally conducting research, analysis, and strategic work rather than delegating exclusively
