Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-funded fintech organization building AI-powered customer operations solutions. This is a true 0-1 Product Manager role where you'll own product across the full experience and work directly with senior product leadership as their first dedicated PM hire.

Our client serves major banking and financial services companies, and you'll have real scope to shape the roadmap and vision for their specialist AI platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with product leadership to define and execute the product roadmap
• Translate ambiguous, technically complex problems into clear, shippable priorities
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand trade-offs and make well-reasoned product decisions
• Bring structure to undefined problems across the business with a "special projects" mindset
• Set and maintain a high bar for product quality, pushing the team beyond "good enough" on every release
• Drive 0-1 initiatives from conception through to shipped outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record taking on ambiguous, 0-1 problems and driving them to shipped outcomes at early-stage startups or within larger organizations
• Genuine technical curiosity and comfort reasoning about AI workflows (prior AI product experience not required)
• Evidence of fast progression and ability to quickly figure out unfamiliar territory
• Unrealistically high personal bar for excellence with a track record of pushing past what's merely reasonable
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain reasoning and bring people along
• Comfort pivoting to new areas across the business as priorities evolve
