Market Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential tourism technology company in their search for a Market Manager based in Hawaiʻi. Our client provides booking and operations software to the tours, activities, and attractions industry. This is a remote position that requires you to live and work in Hawaiʻi.

As Market Manager, you will leverage your existing network within Hawaiʻi's tourism ecosystem to build partnerships, generate pipeline, and serve as the product expert for operators across the islands. You'll work closely with sales leadership to execute growth strategy while delivering compelling product demonstrations and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with tour operators, attractions, wholesale partners, resellers, OTAs, and tour desks throughout Hawaiʻi
• Generate warm leads, referrals, and partnership opportunities through your existing tourism network
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and operator meetings across the islands
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to Hawaiʻi operators, both in-person and virtually
• Translate platform capabilities into practical business solutions based on each operator's needs
• Partner with sales team on active opportunities through discovery conversations and product demos
• Own post-onboarding relationships to ensure successful adoption and long-term value
• Conduct regular business reviews to increase platform utilization and identify expansion opportunities
• Gather market intelligence, operator feedback, and competitive insights to inform go-to-market strategy
• Proactively address customer concerns and reduce churn through strategic account management

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Deep knowledge of the Hawaiʻi tourism landscape, including operators, distribution channels, and market dynamics
• Established network of operator, partner, and industry relationships across the Hawaiian Islands
• 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, B2B sales, or account management
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, or SaaS industries strongly preferred
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify growth opportunities through partnerships
• Passion for technology and ability to quickly develop deep product expertise
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
• Self-directed and highly accountable working style
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
• Must currently live in Hawaiʻi or be willing to relocate

Nice to Have:

• Existing relationships with operators across Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, and Hawaiʻi Island
• Experience with SaaS, booking technology, or reservation systems
• Familiarity with Hawaiʻi's wholesale distribution ecosystem
• Experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, or customer-facing product roles
