SGS is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor, MY. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive recruitment strategy and build high-performing teams across our organisation.

About This Position

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to support SGS's growth objectives. Working within our Human Resources function, you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job analysis and candidate sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding support. Your work will directly impact the quality of our workforce and the company's ability to scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals
  • Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidate suitability and cultural fit
  • Manage job postings and recruitment campaigns across relevant platforms
  • Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate hiring manager feedback throughout the selection process
  • Conduct reference checks and prepare offer documentation
  • Support onboarding and integration of new employees into the organisation
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and produce regular reporting on hiring metrics

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources administration
  • Strong ability to identify and assess candidate skills, qualifications, and cultural alignment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
  • Familiarity with employment law and best practices in Malaysia
  • Organised, detail-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple concurrent recruitment campaigns
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous
