As a Sandwich Artist with Pilot Company, you'll be the face of our food service operation, preparing fresh sandwiches and meal items to order while maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and customer care. Based at our Walcott travel center location, you'll work in a fast-paced retail environment where speed, accuracy, and friendliness directly impact customer satisfaction. Core Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to recipes and customer specifications
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process orders and handle payments accurately
• Greet customers, take orders, and make recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area and serving station
• Follow all food safety and health code protocols to ensure customer safety
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and report supply needs to management
• Work collaboratively with team members during shifts to meet service goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food service or retail experience (helpful but not required)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle food preparation tasks
• Reliable transportation to reach the Walcott location consistently
