Marketing Intern

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential mobile app development company seeking a Marketing Intern for their Munich location. This is a hands-on internship with strong potential to transition into a permanent junior marketing role for the right candidate.

Our client builds consumer-facing mobile applications with global reach and is looking for someone eager to learn the specialized discipline of growth marketing for apps. You'll work directly with a small, focused team and gain practical experience in app store optimization, conversion funnels, and AI-driven marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitor analysis to improve app discoverability across app stores and AI platforms
• Optimize app store listings including copy, screenshots, and metadata while monitoring rankings and user reviews
• Build and test web-to-app and web-to-web conversion funnels from landing page through to conversion
• Maintain and update marketing web pages in collaboration with design and development teams
• Monitor industry trends and innovations, generating ideas for in-app content
• Manage localization and culturalization efforts for both app and web listings
• Support team-wide initiatives and leverage AI tools to build automated marketing processes

What We're Looking For

• Proactive self-starter who identifies needs and takes initiative without prompting
• Genuine curiosity about marketing trends with a hunger to stay at the cutting edge of technology
• Strong English proficiency for writing copy aimed at global audiences
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple projects
• Previous experience running a project that required growing an audience (side hustle, student organization, social media account, blog, community management, etc.)
• Formal background in mobile or web marketing is beneficial but not required
