Technical Product Manager – AI Investing App

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization building AI-powered financial applications across Southeast Asia. They are seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a product vertical within their investing platform. This is a high-impact role working with real money movement, regulatory frameworks, and complex technical systems.

The successful candidate will drive product strategy and execution end-to-end, working across engineering, compliance, operations, and design to ship products that are reliable, auditable, and trusted by users.

Responsibilities

• Own a product vertical from strategy through delivery, including metrics, roadmap, priorities, and launches
• Shape technical design with engineering teams across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience
• Integrate regulatory requirements into product design, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing compliance
• Apply AI strategically where it improves outcomes, with clear evaluation frameworks, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling
• Ship products that depend on external factors such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions and launch requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy through production
• Strong technical foundation across system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers and contribute to technical design discussions
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence product domain
• Strong product judgment and ability to make difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation, reliability, and understanding appropriate use cases
• Strong English communication skills
• Based in or able to relocate to the United Kingdom

Preferred:

• Engineering or highly technical product background
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products
