About This Position

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable hospitality professional to deliver outstanding service across our bar and restaurant operations in Scawsby. In this full-time role, you'll be the face of our pub, engaging with customers, managing their orders efficiently, and ensuring every visit exceeds expectations. Whether you're new to hospitality or bringing years of experience, you'll work within a supportive team environment where your contributions directly impact guest satisfaction and our business success. Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the bar and tables with professionalism and friendliness
• Take accurate orders for food and beverages and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver orders promptly and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit
• Operate the till, handle cash securely, and process card payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, dining areas, and service stations
• Set up tables, clear plates, and reset areas between seatings
• Answer customer enquiries about our menus and offerings
• Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in customer service
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy, fast-paced pub environment
• Basic numeracy and confidence handling cash and card transactions
• Reliability and punctuality; ability to commit to your scheduled shifts
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Previous hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential—we welcome candidates eager to learn
