(Senior) Associate Finance (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential professional services firm in Bremen seeking a finance professional to support mid-market and larger organizations with complex accounting and reporting challenges. In this role, you will:

• Support the preparation and advisory work on sophisticated individual and consolidated financial statements
• Advise companies on matters related to IFRS
• Assist organizations facing financial difficulties, potentially including restructuring or insolvency situations
• Work closely with corporate clients to support their internal accounting functions

What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates who view finance as more than traditional audit work and are drawn to challenging, non-standard engagements. Ideally, you bring:

• Initial experience in audit or accounting advisory roles
• Interest in complex matters involving international accounting standards, consolidation, or financial reporting
• A desire for work beyond routine audit assignments
• Openness to new technologies and change
• Strong German language skills for client interaction in the Bremen market
