Business Systems Analyst, Anaplan

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Business Systems Analyst with Anaplan expertise. In this role, you will:

• Support day-to-day operations of the connected planning platform, including user issue triage, access provisioning, and stakeholder communication across sales, finance, and workforce planning teams
• Act as a support partner for go-to-market functions—fielding planning requests, routing issues appropriately, and managing follow-through to resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis on platform issues and apply business process knowledge to identify systemic gaps and recommend improvements
• Coordinate program and project management activities for platform enhancements: logging and tracking tickets, aligning with developers, and keeping stakeholders informed on status and timelines
• Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and field-level definitions that enable business users to self-serve
• Participate in UAT cycles and support data validation between the planning platform and upstream systems
• Identify opportunities for model cleanup, report consolidation, and operational improvements in coordination with the architecture team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, operations, or enterprise systems support role—Go-To-Market or Sales Operations experience is a bonus
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Anaplan or comparable enterprise planning/EPM platforms, with Workforce Planning use cases strongly preferred
• Adaptability and use-case agnostic mindset—comfortable supporting sales, finance, workforce, or other planning domains as business needs shift
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and translate business process knowledge into actionable solutions
• Solid program management instincts: able to manage multiple requests, communicate clearly, and drive tasks to completion
• Familiarity with connected systems such as Salesforce, Workday, or Snowflake is a bonus
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
