Healthcare Operations Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare services organization in their search for a Healthcare Operations Manager. Our client supports provider groups and hospitals with revenue cycle solutions. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate teams, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement across billing, coding, claims, and accounts receivable functions.

This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and accounts receivable functions
• Coordinate workloads and priorities across operational teams to meet client requirements
• Monitor productivity, quality, turnaround times, and other key performance metrics
• Review operational reports and identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Manage escalated operational issues and coordinate timely resolution with appropriate teams
• Partner with client-facing teams to address concerns and maintain service standards
• Develop and refine processes, procedures, and internal operating standards
• Support training, coaching, and performance development for team members
• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory procedures
• Communicate operational priorities, risks, and performance updates to leadership

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, or healthcare services
• Experience managing or coordinating healthcare operations teams
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows including billing, coding, claims, payment posting, and AR
• Experience monitoring operational KPIs and using data to improve performance
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make effective operational decisions
• Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and client stakeholders
• Experience managing escalations and resolving operational issues
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• HIPAA-compliant private workspace

Preferred:

• Experience working with provider groups or hospitals
• Healthcare revenue cycle management certification
• Familiarity with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or similar healthcare systems
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement experience
• Experience with outsourced healthcare services or multi-client operations
