About This Position
Digital Virgo is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to lead the technical development and architecture of web applications. Core Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Lead technical architecture decisions and ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews
- Mentor junior developers and support team members in developing technical skills
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Optimise application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, from planning through deployment and maintenance
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional web development experience, with demonstrated expertise in at least one modern programming language or framework
- Strong understanding of web architecture, databases, APIs, and software design patterns
- Experience leading technical projects or mentoring other developers
- Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to writing clean, well-documented, maintainable code
