IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) – Windows Server

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Frankfurt am Main seeking an experienced IT System Administrator with deep Windows Server expertise. In this role, you will:

• Manage and evolve the internal server infrastructure based on Windows Server 2022 and Hyper-V
• Design and implement Active Directory structures, Hyper-V environments, group policies, and file/print server architectures
• Take ownership of IT security through Windows environment hardening, patch management coordination, and access control framework development
• Lead technical implementation within IT projects, collaborating closely with the IT team and project management stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive documentation using project management and collaboration tools

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience designing, building, and administering Windows Server environments
• Practical experience with hybrid cloud scenarios (Azure / Entra ID) and solid IT infrastructure knowledge (networking, backup)
• Completed IT training such as IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Structured, goal-oriented work approach with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills, team collaboration mindset, and German language proficiency at C1 level

Preferred additional skills:

• Experience administering telecommunications solutions or unified communications systems
• Solid knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, and VLANs
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions
