Principal Architect: Google Cloud CX Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Principal Architect specializing in Google Cloud customer experience solutions. Our client is a global leader in digital transformation and contact center technology, and this role will focus on architecting advanced conversational AI and customer engagement platforms using Google's CX stack, including Gemini Enterprise, Dialog flow CX, and CCaaS solutions.

This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-powered customer experience initiatives at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and architecture for major CX projects, designing Gemini-powered contact center solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Serve as the strategic technical liaison between clients and Google's CX field teams, providing expert guidance on conversational AI implementations
• Design complex conversational flows using Google Agent Studio platforms and Dialog flow CX, leveraging Gemini and advanced Playbook patterns for adaptive natural-language agents
• Develop real-time agent guidance systems using Gemini-powered Agent Assist and implement Conversational Insights for sentiment analysis and business intelligence
• Oversee architecture of Google CCaaS Platform implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices
• Design integration patterns connecting Gemini-enabled CX components with major CRM and CCaaS platforms including Salesforce, Zendesk, Genesys, Nice, and Avaya
• Manage technical setup of contact center AI platforms, including telephony and network configurations for real-time AI processing
• Lead technical workshops and influence stakeholders during complex sales cycles and implementation phases

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in CX or CCaaS architecture and consultative technical leadership
• Expert-level knowledge of Conversational AI, Google Dialog flow CX, Agent Assist, Conversational Insights, CCaaS/CCAI, and Gemini technologies
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles with ability to lead technical workshops and influence stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of telephony protocols including SIP, RTP, and WebRTC

Desired Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Conversational AI, Generative Playbooks, and Generative Fallback features using Dialog flow CX
• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering for conversational agents, focusing on tone, safety, and behavioral tuning
• Experience with Vertex AI Search and Conversation for RAG-based fulfillment
• Google Professional Cloud Architect or Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification
• Understanding of Google Cloud's Media CDN and low-latency audio processing for voice-driven AI systems
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for custom webhook development and complex API orchestration

Pay

The employer has indicated a base salary range of $155,000 to $220,000 USD annually, plus performance-based incentives. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
