Tire Building Material Handler

This full-time position plays a critical role in keeping our production lines moving by managing the materials that go into every tire we build.

The Opportunity

As part of Continental's manufacturing team in Clinton, you'll become essential to our tire production process. Material handlers are the backbone of tire manufacturing — you'll ensure that our production teams have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. This is a hands-on, physically active role that demands reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to safety.

What You'll Do

• Receive, unload, and organize tire-building materials and components according to specifications
• Transport materials to designated production areas using appropriate material-handling equipment
• Maintain organized and safe storage areas, keeping inventory accessible and protected
• Monitor material conditions and quality, reporting any damage or discrepancies immediately
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
• Support production schedules by anticipating and fulfilling material needs
• Collaborate with production team members to optimize workflow efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier loads
• Physical capability to stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
• Experience operating material-handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety practices and willingness to follow procedures
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
