Endear – Onboarding Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential retail technology company in their search for an Onboarding Manager to join their growing team. This is a 100% remote position where you'll play a pivotal role in helping new customers achieve early success and maximize their potential with a cutting-edge platform designed specifically for retail operations.

Our client is looking for someone with an entrepreneur-like attitude who understands retail operations inside and out. You'll own the critical first 120 days of the customer journey, ensuring meaningful results and setting the foundation for long-term growth. This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with founding team members and shape the future of customer onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Guide new customers through comprehensive onboarding programs designed to drive quick wins and early adoption
• Conduct intensive training sessions with store teams to ensure proper platform usage and change management
• Work closely with sales to expand pilot programs into full team rollouts during the onboarding phase
• Monitor new customer progress and proactively address barriers to adoption and team engagement
• Develop deep expertise in retail workflows to provide strategic guidance on best practices and implementation strategies
• Create and refine onboarding materials, training resources, and success frameworks tailored to retail environments
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure new customer feedback shapes platform development
• Manage smooth transitions to Account Managers once customers reach adoption milestones
• Report on customer progress and success metrics throughout the onboarding journey

What We're Looking For

• Experience in retail operations, store management, or similar customer-facing retail roles
• Understanding of retail team dynamics, training needs, and change management challenges
• Strong communication and training skills with ability to work effectively with diverse retail teams
• Comfortable working at a 100% remote company with a small, fast-moving team
• Solutions-first approach with ability to take action quickly and course-correct as needed
• Excitement about the challenges that come with working for a start-up company where everyone wears multiple hats
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow beyond this role with an "all hands on deck" attitude
• Experience with SaaS platforms or customer success is a huge plus, but not required
