Trainee Financial Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential financial services organization in Berlin, is seeking a Trainee Financial Consultant to join their growing team. Through their structured trainee program, you will receive comprehensive, hands-on training in modern financial consulting. This role combines professional development with real client responsibility as you progress through the program.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full appointment cycle: preparing, conducting, and following up on client consultations
• Building and expanding your own client base through targeted business development and acquisition activities
• Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships and professional networks
• Analyzing client profiles independently to identify individual financial goals and needs
• Developing and presenting customized financial strategies for demanding clients
• Providing ongoing, long-term client support and guidance through all life stages

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• A completed or nearly completed bachelor's or master's degree from a university or college of applied sciences
• Strong interest in economics and financial topics
• Enthusiasm for active sales and client-facing work
• Previous experience in customer-oriented roles or sales is helpful but not required—comprehensive training will be provided
• A goal-oriented, independent, and determined working style
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
• Willingness to learn new subjects and openness to a career in independent financial consulting
• German language proficiency required for this Berlin-based role
