About This Position

This is a hands-on senior development role where you'll take ownership of complex software systems that power intelligence operations, cyber defense, and data-driven missions. You'll balance technical leadership—mentoring developers and driving architectural decisions—with hands-on coding in a collaborative environment where your work has direct impact on critical national security objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable software systems for intelligence and cyber operations
• Lead technical design reviews and code quality initiatives across development teams
• Integrate with systems engineers, security specialists, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions
• Optimize performance and reliability of data-intensive, high-availability applications
• Drive secure coding practices and contribute to vulnerability assessment and remediation
• Manage full software lifecycle from initial requirements through production deployment and ongoing sustainment

Who We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in modern software development across complex, mission-critical systems
• Strong command of languages such as Java, Python, C++, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases, and contemporary cloud platforms
• Applied knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure coding, and threat mitigation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
• Ability to work effectively in team-oriented, collaborative settings
• Preference for candidates able to obtain or hold U.S. security clearance
