Verastem is seeking a Vice President Data Analytics & Insight to lead a transformative analytics function in East Boston, Suffolk County. Role Overview

As Vice President Data Analytics & Insight, you will establish and oversee a world-class analytics organization that translates data into competitive advantage. You'll elevate analytics from a support function into a cornerstone of business strategy, partnering with senior leadership across the company to deliver actionable intelligence, identify market opportunities, and inform high-stakes decisions. This position directly influences Verastem's trajectory and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of analytics capabilities that support commercial operations and strategic planning
• Partner with C-suite and department heads to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data models
• Build and mentor a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of rigor, curiosity, and analytical excellence
• Develop predictive models and market insights that inform investment decisions and competitive positioning
• Establish analytics standards, governance, and infrastructure to ensure data quality and accessibility across the enterprise
• Monitor key performance indicators and business metrics, communicating findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and strategic recommendations

What You Bring

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or quantitative fields
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing analytics teams and reporting to senior management
• Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics
• Demonstrated proficiency with modern analytics platforms and tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Proven track record of translating complex data into strategic recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams
• Strategic mindset with passion for solving business problems through data
