Join DuPage County ROE as a full-time York Student Success Center Facilitator at York Community High School, part of Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205. About the Role
The York Student Success Center Facilitator plays a key role in supporting students' academic progress and personal development. You'll manage and facilitate programs within the Student Success Center, serving as a resource and advocate for students navigating their high school journey.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and facilitate academic support programs and student success initiatives
- Provide personalized guidance and connect students with academic and personal development resources
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff to advance student achievement
- Track student progress and outcomes of support services provided
- Identify students who would benefit from additional resources and make appropriate referrals
- Foster a welcoming Student Success Center environment that encourages student engagement
- Maintain confidential student records and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Valid state certification in an appropriate field, as required by Illinois and Elmhurst CUSD 205
- Demonstrated experience supporting student success in a K-12 or higher education setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students and staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Genuine commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive school community
