McLeod Health is seeking a Biomedical Electronic Technician II to join our biomedical equipment team in South Carolina. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining the clinical devices that our healthcare facilities depend on every day.

Position Summary

As a Biomedical Electronic Technician II, you'll work at an intermediate skill level, managing the lifecycle of biomedical equipment across our health system. Your work directly supports clinical operations by ensuring that critical medical devices remain reliable, safe, and ready for patient care. You'll balance preventative maintenance activities with responsive repair work, always prioritizing both equipment functionality and team collaboration.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform asset management and inventory tracking for biomedical equipment assigned to your facility
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and minimize unplanned downtime
  • Diagnose and repair clinical devices at an intermediate technical level, documenting all work performed
  • Apply electrical safety principles and protocols in all maintenance and repair activities
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance plans, service history, and equipment status
  • Interact professionally with clinical staff and departments to understand equipment needs and concerns
