Quality Process Services is hiring an Inland Compressor Mechanic to join our team in Houma, Terrebonne Parish. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and repairing natural gas compression equipment in an industrial environment.
Position Summary
As an Inland Compressor Mechanic with Quality Process Services, you'll take responsibility for the operation and upkeep of critical compressor systems in the Cocodrie, Louisiana area. Your work will involve performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on natural gas compressor packages and associated equipment to support ongoing industrial operations. Working on a rotating schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, you'll ensure equipment remains in peak operational condition.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on compressor units and related systems
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and diagnose the root cause of failures
- Repair and replace components and parts to restore equipment to working order
- Test equipment after repairs to verify proper operation and safety
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in detailed records
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards on the job site
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience working with gas compressor systems or similar mechanical equipment
- Mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
