About the Role
As a Registered Echocardiography Technologist, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in our cardiac services department. Working closely with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff, you'll acquire detailed cardiac images that guide clinical decisions. Your technical expertise and patient advocacy will contribute to AdventHealth's commitment to treating each person as a whole — body, mind, and spirit.
What You'll Do
- Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiographic examinations
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout imaging
- Operate ultrasound equipment to high technical and clinical standards
- Acquire and record cardiac images and hemodynamic measurements
- Document findings and communicate results to the clinical care team
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support a collaborative, patient-centered care environment
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
- Deep knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cardiovascular disease
- Proven skill in performing echocardiographic procedures accurately and efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Compassionate communication and patient-centered approach
- Ability to thrive in dynamic healthcare environments
- Current Colorado healthcare provider credentials, if required by state licensing
