Data Center Site Selection Manager

Meta is hiring a Data Center Site Selection Manager in Wake Island, Honolulu. As a full-time member of Meta's infrastructure team, you'll lead the strategic identification and development of world-class data center facilities that power our global platform.

About the Role

Meta designs, builds, leases, and operates some of the world's most advanced and efficient data centers. The Data Center Site Selection Manager plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and developing new infrastructure locations that ensure high uptime, capacity availability, and operational efficiency. This position combines strategic site assessment with hands-on project execution, working across real estate, engineering, and finance to deliver solutions that meet Meta's global infrastructure needs.

What You'll Do

• Identify and evaluate potential data center locations based on energy availability, grid capacity, connectivity, and regulatory environment
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including site analysis, environmental impact assessment, and cost-benefit modeling
• Collaborate with real estate, legal, engineering, and finance teams to secure sites and manage development timelines
• Assess regulatory compliance, zoning requirements, and permitting pathways for new facilities
• Manage stakeholder relationships with government agencies, utilities, and local partners
• Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in site selection, real estate, infrastructure development, or large-scale project management
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to evaluate complex trade-offs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with data center operations, energy infrastructure, or capital-intensive projects
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
