Expo (Expeditor)

Pelican Brewing Company is hiring a full-time Expo (Expeditor) at our Rose Lodge, Lincoln County location. As the critical link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, you'll ensure every plate meets our standards before it reaches our guests.

About the Role

As an Expeditor, you'll be the heartbeat of service. You'll manage the flow of food orders through the kitchen, verify quality and plating standards, and communicate seamlessly between culinary and service staff. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where precision, attention to detail, and team communication directly impact the dining experience. Since 1996, Pelican Brewing Company has earned its reputation for quality craft beer and food, and this role protects that commitment every service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize incoming food and beverage orders to maintain optimal service flow
• Inspect every plate for accuracy, proper plating, temperature, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen
• Communicate order status and timing clearly to kitchen staff, servers, and management
• Expedite orders during peak service periods, managing wait times and table rotation
• Assist with plating, garnishing, and presentation to reflect our quality standards
• Maintain organized work stations and coordinate efficiently with the kitchen team

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of expediting or restaurant kitchen experience (or equivalent food service background)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to stay calm under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service
• Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends
