What This Role Involves
As Die Cutter Lead, you'll oversee the die cutting operations that are central to our production. You'll direct your team in executing precise cutting processes, maintain equipment performance, and ensure every production run meets our quality standards. Your leadership will be essential to keeping our facility running smoothly and efficiently while supporting our commitment to sustainable packaging solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise die cutting personnel, ensuring training, safety compliance, and consistent performance
- Operate and monitor die cutting equipment, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Verify product quality at each stage of the cutting process and address any deviations from specifications
- Coordinate production schedules to meet customer deadlines and production targets
- Document production metrics, equipment downtime, and team performance for continuous improvement
- Support safe work practices and enforce safety protocols throughout operations
Requirements
- Proven experience operating die cutting equipment in a manufacturing or converting environment
- Leadership experience managing production teams or supervising floor personnel
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and production efficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
