Core Duties
- Assess patients upon arrival, record vital signs, and communicate findings to the emergency physician team
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and assist with emergency interventions and resuscitations
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and post-procedure monitoring
- Document patient encounters with accuracy and maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care
- Respond to trauma activations, critical stabilizations, and patient transfers
- Maintain organized, safe, and sanitary emergency department operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Current RN license and valid nursing credentials
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Proven emergency department nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current CPR and ACLS certification
- Reliable, flexible, and responsive to changing patient needs
