RN – Operating Room (OR)

The Opportunity

Our Operating Room is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN to deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care. You'll function as a vital member of the surgical team, ensuring seamless coordination between all team members while prioritizing patient welfare. This role demands clinical expertise, calm decision-making under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of surgical care and infection prevention.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including assessment, education, and positioning
• Monitor and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members
• Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies with precision
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterile technique
• Support patients during post-operative recovery and provide appropriate discharge guidance

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
• RN credentials earned through an accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform patient-care tasks
• Specialty certifications are valued but not required for consideration
