Clinical Research Associate II

Corcept Therapeutics seeks a Clinical Research Associate II in Redwood City, San Mateo County, to support the execution and oversight of clinical trial operations within our research team.

Role Overview

As a Clinical Research Associate II at Corcept Therapeutics, you'll manage clinical trial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a full-time, on-site position. For over 25 years, Corcept has been dedicated to advancing science in cortisol-related conditions, with a commercial portfolio spanning hypercortisolism and oncology treatments. The company has discovered and developed more than 1,000 proprietary selective cortisol modulators and glucocorticoid receptor antagonists, and your work will directly support our mission to bring these innovations from laboratory to patient care.

Core Duties

• Coordinate and monitor clinical trial protocols to ensure adherence to study design and regulatory requirements
• Manage participant enrollment, screening, and informed consent documentation
• Collect, organize, and verify clinical trial data with precision and completeness
• Maintain regulatory and trial documentation while ensuring timely submissions
• Communicate with research sites, sponsors, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and maintain trial progress
• Support quality assurance activities and compliance audits
• Assist in preparing reports and submissions for regulatory review

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, or related field preferred
• Documented experience in clinical research operations or healthcare environment
• Working knowledge of clinical trial protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and FDA regulations
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail in documentation
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a complex environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with electronic data capture systems and clinical databases
• Commitment to data integrity and ethical research standards
