As a Capital Portfolio Management Consultant at The Ohio State University, you will serve as a key analytical resource for the university's capital planning and investment oversight functions. Core Duties
- Conduct detailed financial and feasibility analyses on proposed capital projects
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations for portfolio consideration
- Create performance dashboards and monitoring reports for capital initiatives
- Support comprehensive capital planning processes and cycle management
- Evaluate risk profiles and return potential for competing investments
- Partner with deans, department heads, and facilities teams on project development
- Monitor project execution and report on progress against established metrics
- Provide financial modeling support for strategic scenarios and alternatives
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in capital planning, project finance, or portfolio management
